Meg Corby (Henry) is a self-taught emerging Noongar Artist from Bunbury WA. She has been officially practising for two years. She has previously worked in the Indigenous Arts through Bunbury Regional Art Galleries. Her artwork is contemporary. She enjoys creating artworks that bring peace and harmony to people. The colours she uses are influenced by our beautiful country and coastline. She’s had the opportunity to travel throughout our stunning country, certain places hold a special place in her heart. She spends a lot of time daydreaming about the past and present, along the way designing pieces in her mind.
Her family are scattered throughout Australia. Her mother is Murri born in Brisbane QLD and raised in Tweed Heads; and her father is Noongar born in Wagin WA and raised throughout the Noongar Country. Her family includes Davis/Henry/Mcguire /Blair/SmiIth/Curry. Her beautiful family inspire a lot of her work.
She is a proud mum to Tom, Will and our fur baby Cocoa. Her husband Adam is her biggest supporter.
