Joanne Ken

Joanne was born in Antara (Mimili) area to Iwana Antjakitja Ken (dec 2014) and Fred Muru (dec 1994) in 1968. She was raised in these areas and settled in Fregon community as a young child. Joanne has four Children: Nigel, Ben. Dom and April. She also has nine grandchidren.

Joanne paints three stories that were given to her from her family. She paints Waytjatjata where her mother, Antjakitja was born. Minyma Marlilu near Kanpi the home Of her grandmother. Tjinkuma and also south of Fregon including Ililya where her fathers area is.
