Nakita Inkamala

Nakita started painting for Mbantua Gallery in June 2017. Her mother is Joycie Morton, and her father is the late Eric Inkamala. Nakita is the granddaughter of Betty Morton Pwerle (Joycie’s mother). They are all artists. Nakita was born in Alice Springs in 2000 and grew up at Hermannsburg and Ampilatwatja. She is married to Kevin Tilmouth, son of Thelma Dixon. Thelma has been painting for Mbantua since 1998. Nakita’s work reflects the unique style of her large extended family. Currently Nakita lives in Ampilatwatja with her family.
