Roseanne Morton Pwerle, belonging to the Anmatyerre language group, was born around 1984 in Utopia, Northern Territory. Utopia, an ancient outstation situated 270 kilometres northeast of Alice Springs in Central Australia, is her cultural homeland. Roseanne comes from a family of accomplished artists, with her mother being the esteemed Gracie Morton Pwerle.
