Wilfred Wood is an artist from Jabiru, a community within Kakadu National Park. In this region artists typically create paintings on the bark of stringybark (Eucalyptus teradonta), or Dolobbo, using cross hatching line work known as rarrk. Wilfred has taken his traditional iconography, techniques, and Jukurrpa from Jabiru and translated it to canvas.
