Debra paints the Uwalki Watiya Tjuta Dreaming (otherwise known as mulga leaves or bended leaves). The repeated tree motifs represents the women’s side of the Dreaming. Depicted here is the sacred ceremonial grounds of Awelye (women’s business), including the body paint used on women during ceremonies.
