Kim says “As an Aboriginal artist I am surrounded by inspiration every day. The elements of Wardan (ocean), Land and sky inspire me to create my artwork. I walk daily through Boodja and thrive on seeing the transition of seasons and how everything has a natural order.

Another element of Boodja is Wardan, the ocean. I have always had a strong connection to Wardan (the ocean), living by it my whole life.

As an artist I am drawn to the patterns, rhythm, texture and lines in nature, the detail is infinite. “

Kim is a Noongar Banyjima Nyryaparli woman. She lives in Dunsborough & has been painting for over 4 years.
