Colours of Country – red

$3,350.00

This painting is inspired by the rich earthy colours and the contours of the Pilbara landscape. It celebrates the beauty of the landscape, the history and stories it holds. As aboriginal people we have a strong spiritual and respectful connection to country. People and Country are partners in life, everything has spirit and purpose. Built upon the layered tones, the deep red, pink and orange colours mirror the warmth of the Pilbara, capturing the feeling of the hot sun and the ancient energy rising from the ground.
