Coming Together, Meeting place

For at least 65, 000 years Aboriginal people have come together to share our dreaming stories, knowledge, lore, and languages. This has kept our culture strong.

Ceremonies are a rite of passage. Combining song, dance and rituals, to teach particular aspects of lore, spiritual beliefs and survival.

In this painting I reflect on the meeting of Aboriginal people on Country. Coming together over thousands of years and coming together now, to celebrate our history and our future.
