This painting represents the ancient art of weaving.

Woven materials are a link between weaver, country and ancestors. It produces objects of beauty and the process itself has deep cultural significance.

Marrying together coloured fibres and intricate design, items such as sun mats, baskets, dilly bags and fish traps are produced.

Kim is a Noongar Banyjima Nyiypali woman.

She lives in Dunsborough and has been painting for
