“These are the beautiful wildflowers of my country. The mulla mulla flowers carpet the ground and the lovely bluebells, blue gum and spinifex grow amongst them. They blend so perfectly with the orange colour of the earth peeking through.” Melissa Sandy was born in Port Hedland and lives in Roebourne. Melissa’s mother’s Country surrounds the Millstream Tablelands, while her father hails from Adelaide.
