Nellie Marks Nakamarra

Nellie’s subjects are primarily Pulli (Rockholes), My Country, Women’s stories and Women’s Tingari. She has established herself amongst Central Desert artists, and her works have been widely exhibited throughout Australia and around the world. Nellie Marks Nakamarra was born in 1976 in the Kintore region located within the Northern Territory. She is the younger sister of the renowned Central Australian artist Elizabeth Marks Nakamarra.
