Southwest, WA,
Kim is a proud Balardong (Wheatbelt), Whadjuk (Perth) and Banjima (Pilbara) woman, who lives and creates her work on Wadandi Country. Inspired by her accomplished artist father, John Sara, she follows in his artistic footsteps.

Her paintings tell stories of family, deep connection to Country and culture. Kim often travels with family to the Pilbara to reconnect with her heritage and to enrich her understanding of her family stories.

Living on Wadandi Boodja, she draws inspiration from the changing seasons, natural patterns and traditional uses of native plants.
Kim says “I paint to share my knowledge, honour my family and ancestors and to keep our stories alive for community and future generations”
