Boodja at First Light

Megan Corby

$1,500.00

As the first light of day touches Boodja, the landscape begins to wake. The darkness slowly gives way to soft pinks, warm ochres, golden yellows and gentle blue, painting the sky and Country with the colours of a new day.

The winding pathways in the artwork represent the waterways and journeys across Country, carrying life and connecting everything together. The many circles and delicate dots reflect the flowers, plants, people and living things that awaken with the morning sun.

As the sun rises higher, its warm colours spread across the land, reminding us that every sunrise brings renewal, hope and another opportunity to care for Country.
