Bunuru: Kep Koort – Water Heart As a Saltwater child growing on Wardani Boodja most of our summer days were spent by the beach or islands waterways. We could swim and explore endlessly. The rock pools that formed in the basalt rocks would always provide me with entertainment. I would pick my Rockport and start collecting shells and flowers. If I was lucky I would find a little crab or fish. I would love to poke the anemone that were attached to the rock. They would grip my finger in retaliation. Each beach along the SW coast has so much beauty, beneath the surface is home to pretty sea creatures in a vibrant array of colours. Sting rays would dance across the water peacefully making their way down the coast.
