“Djitty Djitty Whispers” is about the the Djitty Djitty (Willy Wagtail), which is a messenger bird. Yvonne Bell’s artwork is inspired by her home Country. She uses bright colours in her artwork to reflect the vibrant colours of her home, including the beautiful wildflowers and the crystal blue water. She is a Minang Noongar/Ngadju artist from Yarramoup (Jerramugup) and Banjelungup (Bremer Bay) in the great southern region of WA. I currently live in Boorloo (Perth).
