Together celebrates the love shared between two people and the journey they create as a couple. Two arched shapes represent the individuals, standing side by side as they begin building a life together. The circle between them symbolises their shared life, hopes and future, reflecting the bond that connects them. Surrounding the couple, a large circular band represents the wider influences that shape their relationship, including community, family, traditions and culture. The artwork honours the strength of love and belonging. Kim Kiosses is a Noongar, Banjima and Nyiyaparli woman living in Dunsborough, who has been painting for over four years.
