Across the Six Seasons of Noongar Boodja, Country is always changing, but one thing remains constant, the connection to the land and to the people they love.

The winding pathways in this artwork represent the many journeys people share. They weave through places of memory, family and belonging, reminding people that they are never truly walking alone.

The colours and flowers represent the beauty and life that Country gives through every season. From the cool rains of Makuru, through the awakening of Djilba, the blossoms of Kambarang, the warmth of Birak and Bunuru, and into the changing days of Djeran, Country continues its cycle of renewal.

Just as the seasons connect one to another, family and loved ones connect generations. Stories are shared, memories are carried, and knowledge is passed from one generation to the next.

This artwork is a celebration of those connections, to Boodja, to family, to culture and to each other.
