Margaret River Open Studios

Discover Margaret River Region Open Studios 2026

Each spring, the Margaret River Region comes alive with colour, creativity and community spirit during the annual Margaret River Region Open Studios. From 12–27 September 2026, more than 150 artists will open their studio doors, inviting visitors to experience one of Australia’s largest and most celebrated open studio events.

Stretching from Busselton to Augusta, Open Studios offers a unique opportunity to meet artists in their creative spaces, watch their techniques firsthand, and hear the stories behind their work. Whether you’re drawn to painting, ceramics, sculpture, jewellery or mixed media, there’s something to inspire every visitor.

One of the highlights of the event is the freedom to explore at your own pace. Using the free guide and map, you can create your own art trail through the beautiful Margaret River Region, discovering galleries, studios and hidden creative spaces among coastal towns, rolling vineyards and towering forests.

While exploring the region, we invite you to visit Yallingup Aboriginal Art Gallery. Conveniently located on Caves Road at the entrance to Yallingup Maze, our gallery showcases authentic contemporary Aboriginal art from award-winning artists across Australia, alongside an exceptional collection from local Noongar artists.

We’re especially proud to support one of our best-selling artists, Kim Kiosses, who is participating in the Margaret River Region Open Studios for the third consecutive year. After visiting Kim’s studio, continue your journey with us to discover more of her beautiful works, together with paintings, sculptures and cultural stories from artists across Australia.

Whether you’re an experienced collector or simply looking for inspiring things to do in Margaret River this spring, we’d love to welcome you. Our gallery is open daily from 10 am to 4 pm, with free entry.
